Three ways to work together — matched to where you actually are

Some businesses need clarity before they can act. Some have identified the problem and want it solved. Some want a senior technical voice available for the decisions that keep coming. We've structured our work around those three situations.

Every engagement starts with a conversation. We'll tell you which approach fits — and if none of them does, we'll tell you that too.

Rocket lifting off — the kind of momentum that comes from getting AI right in your business

The AI Reality Check

A clear-eyed assessment of where AI fits in your business — and where it doesn't.

Most businesses don't need a consultant to sell them an AI strategy. They need someone to walk through their operations honestly and say: here's what's worth doing, here's the order to do it in, and here's what to ignore.

That's what the AI Reality Check delivers. Two weeks of structured discovery — conversations with you and your team, a review of how work actually flows through the business — and one short written document that you'll actually use.

No 80-page deck. No abstract framework. A practical assessment that helps you decide what to do next.

What this includes

  • Discovery sessions with leadership and key team members
  • End-to-end review of your operations and workflows
  • Assessment of where AI creates genuine leverage — and where it doesn't
  • A short written document with clear prioritisation
  • A follow-up conversation to walk through findings and answer questions

Best for: Leaders who know they need to engage with AI but don't know where to start — and want honest advice before spending serious money.

Fixed price. Two-week turnaround.

The Workflow Sprint

Pick one high-leverage workflow. Redesign it with AI. Ship it.

The Workflow Sprint is for businesses that have already identified the problem — or completed a Reality Check — and want it solved rather than theorised about.

We choose a specific process together: something that's eating your team's time, producing inconsistent results, or carrying a hidden cost the business has stopped noticing. Then we redesign it end-to-end using AI tools, build it, and hand it over with your team trained on it and the documentation to maintain it after we're done.

Common candidates include knowledge management processes, document-heavy admin workflows, reporting pipelines, customer communication flows, and legacy processes that were designed for a different era.

What this includes

  • Workflow selection and scoping session
  • End-to-end redesign using appropriate AI tools
  • Working solution — built, tested, and handed over
  • Team training so the solution is understood and maintained
  • Documentation that doesn't require us to stay involved

Best for: Teams that have identified the problem and want it solved — not a proposal, not a prototype, but something working.

Fixed price per sprint.

Standing Advisor

A thinking partner for AI and technology decisions — without adding to headcount.

Some decisions don't fit neatly into a two-week engagement. Vendor selection. Technical hires. Build-vs-buy. The choice between two AI tools that both look plausible. The question of whether a proposed system is actually going to work.

These are the decisions where a standing advisor earns their keep — not by having all the answers, but by asking the right questions and bringing the kind of judgment that comes from having seen a lot of technology decisions play out.

As a Standing Advisor, we're available on a regular cadence and as questions arise. We can sit anywhere in the business — with leadership, with a technical team, or across both.

What this includes

  • Regular check-in (cadence agreed upfront)
  • Open line for the questions that come up between sessions
  • Second opinion on vendor selection, technical decisions, and strategic bets
  • Review of proposals, system designs, or technical plans where useful
  • Access to someone who can sit with leadership and speak plainly

Best for: Leadership teams who want senior, technically literate judgment available on call — without hiring a CTO or technology director.

Monthly retainer. Three-month minimum engagement.

Where We Work

Three areas where AI creates the most leverage

Regardless of which engagement fits, our work tends to concentrate in three areas where the impact of AI is clearest and most durable.

Knowledge management

Redesigning how organisations capture, structure, and retrieve knowledge using AI — with results that compound over time and outlast individual staff.

Workflow transformation

Identifying the processes that cost the most time and rebuilding them with AI at the centre. Delivered as working solutions, not recommendations.

Systems modernisation

Refactoring aged systems and legacy processes with AI — replacing the slowest, most fragile parts first and creating productivity gains that often feel dramatic.
